What you get from a Beyond Image Production

A fantastic and educational 50 to 60 minute Theatre in Education performance and a 50 minute workshop included in the price. We advise a maximum audience size of 300. We can be flexible on numbers, depending on your facilities. For information on workshop timings please see our Workshops notes.

Pricing

The price of a performance is £390.00 + VAT this is inclusive of one 50 minute workshop. We can accommodate 30 pupils per workshop and we have three workshop leaders.

Additional Workshops can be arranged with the company. Prices vary, depending on how many classes it will be for - pricing is around £2 a head and workshops are an hour in length. Each actor can take around 30 children.

About our Theatre in Education Workshops

All of our workshops are run by qualified and highly experienced actors and workshop leaders who all hold CRB police check certificates.

Beyond Image workshops will help students to develop their creative skills, giving them a chance to use their imagination. Our workshops help to build confidence and provide an opportunity for children to work as a team, to think for themselves and to digest knowledge in an active and fun way.

 

Production Workshop

A workshop will normally start after a production and will continue for up to 50 minutes. We usually start with a Q & A session with the whole audience, covering some of the topics in the show and then break into our workshop groups. Each workshop leader can take a group of up to 30 students at a time.

 

Drama workshops

The drama workshops look at all aspects of acting and performance skills. The workshop covers comedy, mime, voice techniques, improvisation, acting for the stage. The workshop focuses on the drama techniques used within the performance.

 

Tailor made workshops

All Beyond Image workshops leaders are highly experienced, with an extensive knowledge of devising workshops on many different subjects. If you have any topics that you would like us to cover, then please give us a call and we would be happy to create a tailor made workshop on that subject. 

For drama tailor made workshops, depending on the number of pupils taking part, We offer half a day or a whole day of workshops, this usually follows the show. If you are a particularly big school we could come to you for more than one day.

 

What we need

- Ideally a hall or a large classroom. Our staging will fit into most open spaces.
- Power socket
- 30-40 minutes setting up time and 30 minutes to strike the set
- If possible, a parking space close to the performance area in order to unload our equipment
- To be greeted by a staff member on the day to discuss the final details and to be told where the facilities are, i.e., toilets, staff room etc.
- An introduction before the performance
- If you are having a Workshop we will need an open space or a large classroom which should be cleared with table and chairs to the side.

 

Further booking and payment information

Once you have chosen a performance or workshop you will need to check when the show is touring and what dates are available.

Give us a choice of three dates you have in mind and we will do our best to meet your needs.

Once a date is agreed, we will send you a booking confirmation, with our terms and conditions. You must sign this and return it to our office to seal the contract, or sign electronically by emailing us, stating that you agree to all the terms and conditions. This MUST be done within seven working days.

You will receive an invoice approximately six weeks prior to the performance. The invoice will need to be paid on or before the day of the performance, by cheque.
